Cannes itself offers many accommodation areas and is obviously the closest in terms of proximity to the main venue of EthCC[8].
Take a look at the map of Cannes below. It shows the walking distances to the Palais des Festivals. The different sections represent 5, 10, 15, 20 min walking distance. 🚶🏼♂️

Mandelieu-la-Napoule
🏰 Mandelieu-la-Napoule, rooted in Roman history, is famed for its Château de la Napoule, scenic Esterel mountains and Mediterranean charm.
Mandelieu-la-Napoule is the closest neighbouring city to Cannes - only 8km away! While the city offers plenty of hotels, it’s more focussed on vacation rentals.
The prices are similar to Cannes with two major transportation lines: Bus A and Bus 22. 🚎
💡 TIP: If you prefer shorter travel times to Cannes, then stick closer to the coast.

Antibes
Antibes, founded as the Greek colony Antipolis in the 5th century BCE, grew into a Roman port and later a renowned cultural hub on the French Riviera, celebrated for its historic charm and Mediterranean beauty.⚓️
Antibes is also very close to Cannes, with about 11km of distance between them. The ‘TER’ (Transport Express Régional), is the regional express train that goes along the coast line.
Similar to Mandelieu-la-Napoule, we suggest you stick close to the coast to get the fastest and most convenient transportation to Cannes. 🚝
