The problem with Cross-Chain Governance

Protocols are deploying on many chains and the multichain world is here to stay. A Decentralized and secure cross-chain governance solution is needed for this new reality, but is hard to do well. DAOs have tried different approaches for effective cross-chain governance, but to-date, they have all been some combination of complex, resource-intensive, and/or insecure. The best solution for this right now requires two components: a secure messaging channel and a standardized interface for accepting cross-chain calls.
