EthCC[8]: The Countdown Begins!

Hey frens! We’ve missed you 🫶

After a fantastic edition of EthCC in Brussels, we’re looking ahead to the next stop in our Tour de Ethereum…

…which is why we’re excited to announce that EthCC[8] will be back this summer, taking place from June 30 to July 3, 2025 at the Palais des Festivals, right on the beautiful Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, France! 💙🤍❤️

With capacity for up to 9,000 attendees, this year’s event is shaping up to be our biggest yet!

We have tons and tons (and tons) of info to share with you in the coming months, but let’s start with the basics:

At EthCC, we aim to create a seamless experience, where once you enter, you’ll have everything you need without needing to leave until the evening.

After last year’s feedback, where the food was voted excellent but not quite sufficient, we’re ensuring this year’s offering will be excellent and sufficient! 😋

Expect great food and plenty of it — but that’s not all you have to look forward to!

Bringing the Community Together

EthCC is all about accessibility and inclusivity. We’re working hard on a programme that caters to everyone, no matter your level of technical knowledge or interests within the Ethereum space.

For our attendees with families, the EthCC Nursery will be back again for those little crypto kiddos, aged 3 months to 7 years. 👶

And remember the MASSIVE ball pit and the gaming lounge? Expect many equally fun and exciting surprises this year! 👀

Plus, the EthVC programme will return for its 5th edition, showcasing the next wave of innovative startups. We can’t wait to see which projects will apply for this unique opportunity!

We’re also thrilled to partner once more with fantastic teams and individuals, such as Dani Osorio and Lane Rettig, the Block Fighters, the Core Devs and Token Engineering, who will again curate an insightful track as they did last year.

EthCCWeek: Improving the Experience

EthCCWeek, which started four years ago, has grown exponentially, and during EthCC[7], we noticed some challenges with overlapping events and a bit of chaos for speakers and attendees.

We had speakers delivering the same talks multiple times and partners experiencing empty rooms, leading to confusion around which events were officially part of EthCC.

This year, we’ll be providing more support to both organisers and attendees, ensuring that navigating EthCCWeek is easier and clearer for everyone. Stay tuned for more updates on how we’re making this happen! ✨

Finding a place to stay in Cannes during summer can be tricky, but we’ve got you covered! 🏨
