Therefore the details of its design, production, development, maintenance and use pose global legal challenges. In the web, the law leverages the positions of corporations who own or operate the web servers that play host to cyberspace. Blockchain and cryptocurrency, on the other hand, is designed to be resistant to control by people who own or operate crypto nodes. It is also often misrepresented as immutable, alegal, or impossible to regulate.
