ENS on Layer 2

"ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is one of the oldest and most widely used name services with over 250 integrations from wallets, exchanges to NFT marketplaces. However, the recent surge in gas price makes it expensive for users to register and update ENS records, as well as many Dapps, are now moving to layer 2 and side chains which limits the usage of ENS as a universal name service. In this talk, Makoto will describe our plan of L2 agnostic integration that allows dapps and users to opt-in using their choice of L2 while Dapps resolve names across different chains in a consistent way."
