Securing DeFi - A sneak peek in the world of Ledger Nano Ethereum plugins

"DeFi is becoming increasingly popular. For many users worrying about the security of their digital assets, Ledger hardware wallets have become their go-to solution. Yet, although the security model of the Ledger devices rely on What You See Is What You Sign (WYSIWYS), many DeFi users are happy to approve gibberish hexadecimal string on their Nano screen, trusting blindly that the smart contract methods they are interacting with are ""safe"". In this presentation, Ledger team members will present a solution, internally referred to as Ethereum plugins, which could allow DeFi protocols to integrate with Ledger Nano devices securely, allowing the parsing of each transactions the user intends to sign."
