Hello world, Swarm

The Swarm network recently saw the light, with its mainnet deployment. In this talk, I will give a concise but complete introduction to the inner workings of the Bee nodes that make up the Swarm network. After the talk, all listeners will understand: - How Bee nodes are able to send messages to/from each other without maintaining a direct connection with each other node; - How data is uploaded and downloaded to/from the network and how the Swarm protocols ensure that it is ambiguous who is the ultimate requestor; - Why Bee nodes are motivated to work together; - How Swarms Decentralized Immutable Store of Chunks (DISC) enables virtual hosting of Dapps and anonymous messaging. The talk is a summary of the recently released Swarm whitepaper (https://www.ethswarm.org/swarm-whitepaper.pdf)
