Building Regenerative Culture

An critical part of working in the regenerative finance/sustainable Web3 space is building regenerative culture within and across organizations. Our commitment at Toucan to designing systems that are additive instead of extractive extends to creating virtuous cycles + positive, extensible standards and practices in our internal team and across our community of collaborators and contributors. A major focus of this work is on "cultural debt," the cultural analogue to technical debt that halts progress and creates internal tension during building and scaling decentralized orgs. This talk will focus on identifying, addressing, and creating resilient systems to address cultural debt, and practical applications and strategies for other teams who want to do the same to increase positive impact while reducing burnout and attrition.
