Designs for inflation resistant stablecoins

Inflation this year all around the world showed more than ever the need to build financial tools that can protect their holders against the loss of purchasing power. One of these tools is inflation-resistant stablecoins. While some attempts in building such assets have recently been started in DeFi, we'll explain here the challenges of building inflation resistant stablecoins and explore some potential designs, centralized and decentralized, which could work at scale.
