Why DeFi matters for everyone

Why should every financial operator run its own outdated, silo'd technology infrastructure? Why should transactions be settled manually with human operators? 10 years from now, global finance will run on a shared OS. Wether it's called DeFi or not at that point, the change that started these past few years cannot be stopped. Ethereum can be seen as the Excel of financial tech. A huge chunk of financial markets currently runs on excel models. The next step is building all that value on Ethereum. During this talk, I will explore how DeFi will allow more people around the globe to access better financial services, and why this is not just some random dream. There already is a functioning use case: lending. The unknown is how to bridge current CeFi operations and mentalities, to this new world
